Teka is pleased to announce our new line of RoHS Compliant components, aimed at reducing the use of hazardous substances in electrical and electronic products. This European Union legislation, also known as the Restriction on Hazardous Substances (RoHS) directive, places restrictions on the use of lead, hexavalent chromium, cadmium, mercury, polybrominated biphenyl (PBB) and polybrominated diphenyl ethers (PBDE). Lauderdale Florida, a fully integrated company that designs, engineers and manufactures connectors and subsequently moved the product line and its manufacturing capabilities to the Warwick, Rhode Island facility. All products formerly produced by AWI are now contained in our catalog, using the same identification numbers that AWI customers are accustomed to.
